Will Apple finally kill the 16 GB storage option?
16 GB of storage simply doesn't cut it for most people. But Apple has been adamant over the years and kept the entry-level iPhone at a wimpy 16 gigs.
This year could be different. According to Joanna Stern of The Wall Street Journal, Apple will start the iPhone with 32 GB of storage, which should be enough for many. There are also reports that the iPhone will max out at 256 GB. Sweet.
Why is Apple removing the headphone jack?
It's all but confirmed that Apple will remove the standard headphone jack in the iPhone 7. Get over it.
But it'll be more interesting to hear the company's explanation for why this is happening. Did it come up with a better standard for wireless headphones? Is it all about Bluetooth now? Does the Lightning connector make that much of a better headphone jack replacement?
We'll find out soon.
Will Apple include a dongle that works with regular headphones?
If Apple kills the traditional headphone jack, it'll almost certainly make some sort of dongle that'll let you use your old headphones through the Lightning port.
But the real question: Will Apple include a dongle with the iPhone 7? Or will it make you buy one for an extra few bucks?
