Google is gearing up for a whopper of an event.

On October 4, the company is expected to announce several new hardware products, ranging from smartphones to speakers to a new intelligent router.

This is going to be the biggest product lineup Google has ever released. We'll be covering all the action live on October 4 starting at noon ET.

So what's coming? Here's the rundown of everything you'll likely see from Google:

Google Home will be the star of the show.

We're expecting Google to answer all the remaining questions about Home, its connected speaker and rival to the Amazon Echo. So far, we have yet to see a live demo of the device and everything it can do. All we know is that it'll have Google's new Assistant living inside, which can help you with search queries, control connected appliances in your home, and play music from streaming services, among other things.

But how much will it cost? When can you buy it? How's the sound quality? And what else can it do?

Two new Android smartphones called Pixel and Pixel XL.

Google is shaking up how it does smartphones.

Instead of a new Nexus phone, the company is said to rebrand its smartphone line this year as Pixel, the same name it gave its high-end Chromebook a few years ago.

According to Android Police, which covers Google news, Google will announce two new Pixel phones, the Pixel and the Pixel XL. The XL model will have a larger screen. Both phones are said to be built by HTC, but they won't feature any HTC branding. This is meant to be a pure Google phone, and it's a hint that Google intends to build its own hardware moving forward.

Of course, the Pixel will run the latest version of Android, called Nougat, and won't have any extra annoying software Android phone makers usually add to their devices. Google will likely sell the Pixel unlocked, too.

A new Chromecast that works with 4K TVs.

Google's newest Chromecast will support 4K video, according to Android Police.

The new version of the popular video streaming gadget should appeal to those with high-end TVs, but most people will be fine getting the normal HD Chromecast. Most video isn't streamed in 4K, and most TVs today don't support it.
